Adam is the founder of Iboga Insight.
He is a UK based psychotherapist and coach, working in private practice for the past decade. He has also worked in clinical research as a psychedelic assisted psychotherapist and facilitates groups, including a meditation circle and a community wellness project.
Alongside his work with Iboga, Adam has a specialism supporting individuals with severe Anxiety and Body Dysmorphia. The subject of his MA thesis was a psycho-spiritual perspective on Body Dysmorphia. He has subsequently given public talks on the topic, to raise awareness and contribute to developing standards of care. Adam originally sought out Ibogaine treatment on his own healing journey from this condition in his mid-twenties. Following becoming established in his profession he was encouraged and invited to engage and work in collaboration with friends, who work with Iboga.
Adam has a keen interest in spirituality and studied mindfulness and meditation under the Rinzai Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, at Plum Village, which was also an important aspect of his own healing journey and informs his work.
He has studied the therapeutic potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness and the utility of plant medicines as catalysts for personal and collective evolution and healing.
Adam strives to bring values of authenticity, integrity and compassion in both his personal life and his work.
